Stealth addresses
Hand your address to anyone, or post it anywhere. It never appears on the blockchain: every payment to you lands at a new one-time address that only your wallet can recognize.
Automatic. Every payment you receive uses a fresh one-time address. There is nothing to set up.
a3f9c1d2…7be20d5c0e88b4…d41a6fe87b2a90…0f3c51Three payments to the same address land at three one-time addresses that look completely unrelated. Only your wallet can tell they're yours.
How it works
When someone pays you, their wallet mixes your public address with a random number made just for this payment. The result is a one-time address that belongs to you but can't be connected to your address by anyone else.
Your wallet checks each new transaction with your private view key and picks out the ones meant for you. Only your private spend key can spend them.
As many addresses as you like
One wallet can have any number of subaddresses. Make one for each customer, friend or donation page under Receive > Create new address. They all pay into the same wallet, yet nobody can tell they belong together, not even the people you gave them to.
Integrated addresses
An integrated address is your address with a short payment ID inside, for services that tell payments apart that way. Most people never need one. Accepting payments »

One part of the whole
Stealth addresses hide who received a payment. Ring signatures hide who sent it and RingCT hides how much moved.
